Se estima que m\u00e1s del 65% de las infecciones bacterianas y el 80% de las infecciones cr\u00f3nicas son causadas por bacterias que se forman en biofilm. Es urgente por lo tanto encontrar compuestos anti-biofilm eficientes frente a este pat\u00f3geno y para eso se requieren m\u00e9todos de alto cribado consistentes y adecuados.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de este contexto, la Fundaci\u00f3n MEDINA particip\u00f3 en el simposio presentando un poster descriptivo de un m\u00e9todo de screening r\u00e1pido, preciso, reproducible y sensible para la identificaci\u00f3n de extractos de productos naturales microbianos con actividad contra la formaci\u00f3n de biofilms de <em>Acinetobacter baumannii<\/em>. El estudio tambi\u00e9n describe la optimizaci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros necesarios para cribado de alto rendimiento, as\u00ed como los datos de un cribado preliminar de 320 extractos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VALIDATION OF AN AUTOMATED ASSAY FOR <em>ACINETOBACTER BAUMANNII<\/em> BIOFILM INHIBITORS FROM A MICROBIAL NATURAL PRODUCTS COLLECTION <\/strong>De la Cruz M, Martos CJ, P.
