Fernando coment\u00f3 en su charla c\u00f3mo se utiliz\u00f3 este enfoque en la determinaci\u00f3n de dos familias de mol\u00e9culas bioactivas descubiertas en MEDINA, los caniferolidos, macr\u00f3lidos antif\u00fangicos glicosilados aislados de un cultivo del actinomiceto marino <em>Streptomyces caniferus<\/em>, y las krisinomicinas, depsip\u00e9ptidos que act\u00faan como potenciadores del antibi\u00f3tico imipenem, aislados de <em>Streptomyces canus<\/em>.
