Who doesn’t want to make the best of their samples? High-Throughput Screening (HTS) of large sample sets has become vital in the drug discovery field, especially when it comes to Natural Products (NPs). NPs require the implementation of new technologies to miniaturize assays due to high reagent and consumable costs. Since Acoustic Droplet Ejection (ADE) emerged as a helpful tool in HTS campaigns for the transference of compound libraries, its use has grown exponentially. At Fundación MEDINA, we have optimized the use of this technology for the transference of NP extract libraries in low percentages of DMSO for HTS biochemical and cell-based assays.
