The course "Genomic Applications in Biotechnology (marine natural products)" brings together around 20 scientists from the BLUE and GREEN H2020 project at the University of Porto from the 13th to the 15th of December.
This first course aims to provide hands on training in genome assembly and annotation of biosynthetic pathways, with special emphasis on microbial genomics and will enable the application of new technologies for the search and selection of microorganisms with novel chemistry. BLUE and GREEN training program has been designed to foster research networking and increase the different partner’s performance in the area of Marine Biotechnology.
The project BLUEandGREEN has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 692419.
